Series of Classes
1) Somatic Movement Level One
Instructor: Michelle Robertson
Prerequisite: none
6-Week Beginner Somatic Movement Series
Reconnect with your body in a gentle, supportive environment every Wednesday evening for six weeks, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
This beginner-friendly somatic movement series is designed to help you slow down, release tension, and reconnect with your body in a deeper and more intuitive way. In a world that often keeps us moving quickly and living in our minds, this class offers a space to come back into the body with curiosity, softness, and awareness.
Through simple guided movement, breath, and mindful attention, you will begin to notice how your body holds tension, how it responds to stress, and how to create more ease and support from the inside out. This is not about performance, fitness, or “doing it right.” It is about learning to listen to your body and gently work with it.
This class is ideal for those who are new to somatics, navigating stress or burnout, recovering from injury, or simply looking for a more grounded and restorative way to move.
In this 6-week series, you will learn how to:
• Improve body awareness and reconnect with how your body feels and moves
• Reduce patterns of chronic tension and physical discomfort
• Support better posture, alignment, and ease of movement
• Increase mobility and flexibility in a gentle, sustainable way
• Use movement to support nervous system regulation and relaxation
• Recognize where your body may be holding stress, fatigue, or emotional tension
• Develop a more compassionate and intuitive relationship with your body
• Create greater feelings of groundedness, calm, and internal safety
All movements are slow, accessible, and adaptable to your comfort level. You do not need to be flexible or have any prior experience—just a willingness to slow down and tune in. Come as you are, and leave each week feeling more grounded, relaxed, and connected to yourself.
Registration Note:
Wednesday evenings from 530-7pm for six weeks. You only need to register for the first class, and you will automatically be added to all six sessions.
Workshop Investment: $180

2) Somatic Movement Level Two: Embodied yoga
Instructor: Michelle Robertson
Prerequisite: Somatic Movement Level One
6-Week Intermediate Somatic Movement Series
This Level 2 Somatic Movement class explores the integration of mindful movement and foundational yoga postures through a somatic lens. Rather than focusing on achieving a “perfect” pose, students are guided to develop greater internal awareness, refine movement patterns, and deepen their connection with their body’s own natural intelligence.
Through slow, exploratory movement, breath awareness, and sensory attention, we’ll explore familiar yoga postures in ways that encourage greater ease, stability, mobility, and body awareness. This approach can help reduce unnecessary tension while supporting sustainable strength, flexibility, and more efficient movement from the inside out.
Designed for students with previous somatic movement or yoga experience, this class offers an opportunity to deepen your practice through curiosity, awareness, and self-discovery. Expect a thoughtful pace, creative movement exploration, and an embodied experience that can support both your everyday movement and your yoga practice.
All movements are slow, accessible, and adaptable to your comfort level. You do not need to be flexible or have any prior experience—just a willingness to slow down and tune in. Come as you are, and leave each week feeling more grounded, relaxed, and connected to yourself.
