Why Astrology?
My journey into astrology began unexpectedly, and it became one of the most transformative paths of my life.
Several years ago, on Mother’s Day, a team of reflexologists from my clinic and I were offering sessions at a special event held in the garden of a local winery. It was a beautiful spring day, unusually warm, and we had created a peaceful healing space under a shaded tent. The air was filled with the scent of fresh flowers and aromatherapy, and guests moved through the space receiving treatments and taking time for themselves.
That afternoon, a vibrant, warm woman sat down at my station for a reflexology session. During our conversation, I learned that she was a professional astrologist. At the time, I knew very little about astrology and had never considered it as something personally meaningful. Yet something in me felt drawn, and without thinking too much about it, I suggested that we trade sessions. I would offer reflexology, and she would offer an astrology reading.
That exchange became a turning point in my life.
When she completed my natal chart reading, I was deeply moved. She spoke about my personality, my sensitivities, my strengths, and my life direction with a level of clarity that felt both surprising and deeply familiar. She articulated patterns I had spent years discovering through personal growth, healing work, and lived experience. It felt as though she was reflecting parts of me that had always been there, but had never been fully seen or understood in such an integrated way.
From there, I began exploring astrology more deeply—not only for myself, but for my family. Through their charts, I gained profound insight into my children’s emotional needs, their natural personalities, and how to best support them as individuals. I also gained a deeper understanding of my marriage and the unique dynamics within our relationship. Astrology gave me a framework that helped me move beyond assumptions and respond to the people I love with greater awareness, compassion, and clarity.
What began as curiosity became a calling. I immersed myself in study, training, and continued learning, knowing that astrology would become a lifelong path of exploration and service.
Today, astrology is one of the most meaningful tools I use in my work with clients. It allows me to help people understand themselves at a deeper level—their emotional patterns, their strengths, their challenges, and their life direction. It provides language and structure for experiences that often feel difficult to explain, and it helps people reconnect with their own natural design.
It is an honour to hold this space for others. Supporting clients as they gain clarity, self-understanding, and greater trust in themselves is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
